Happy New Year to one my earliest subscribers! I'm delighted to share that I've just launched a free-to-play browser codebreaker puzzle game called "Sum-It!".

If you signed up to my list because of interest in the sci-fi mystery hacking simulator OPERANDi, that's still in progress, and this game also has a "hacking" element to it. (In fact, this puzzle was developed as a 'daily' mini-game within OPERANDi, but it seemed like a fun idea to develop it into a standalone game too.)

In Sum-It, you are encouraged to write your own code to solve the procedurally-generated puzzles as fast as possible in as few moves as possible, interacting with the game via its internally-hosted API.

There's an online leaderboard to aim for!

An example python API client and the OST is included in the downloadable version of the game (PC/Mac).
